3 ‘Stories is a critical literary work shaped by the artist’s ongoing exploration of language and meaning, particularly the tension between correct and incorrect spelling. Titled “1. Land, 2. Water, 3. Sky,” the work revisits a set of familiar tales first encountered during his early school days. These stories are approached through a unique methodological lens: a collaborative process with his friend Swilin, in which she verbally narrates the stories while he simultaneously transcribes them. This method often results in numerous spelling errors in his writing.

However, rather than viewing these errors as failures, the artist interrogates their significance. He poses a compelling question: if a word is misspelled, yet still successfully guides the reader toward the intended meaning through imagination, does the distinction between correct and incorrect spelling truly hold? In this way, the work blurs the boundaries between conventional linguistic correctness and subjective comprehension, revealing an interconnectedness between what is typically seen as right and wrong in spelling.
